Descend into the large complex of underground tunnels that make up the catacombs of Domitila. Hear the stories behind the earliest Christian rites and rituals and marvel at ancient artworks.
We will explore several parts of the catacombs learning about death in ancient Rome and see crypts with pagan and Christian decorative themes including the tomb of Diogenes, a grave digger who created the endless corridors of graves.

Please meet us by the picnic benches outside the Catacombs of Domitila. Your guide will have a yellow Carpe Diem Rome flag. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to start time. Late arrivals will not be eligible for refunds. Please check local Covid-19 regulations
