What You Will Do
This tour takes place around the farmers market just outside the Vatican Museums' entrance. You can do it before your Sistine Chapel visit. It combines delicious Roman recipes, the finest wine of the region, and beautiful monuments.

Just between the banks of the Tiber and the walls of the Vatican, you will find Borgo, a historic district that houses the world-known Castel Sant'Angelo.

Vatican Walls

Then, you will walk along the Vatican walls and learn about this impressive construction and its history as access to the city for the pilgrims.

Passetto di Borgo
10 minutes
It is the elevated passage between the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo, built by pope Nicholas III, that served as an escape way for pontiffs in danger.
