What You Will Do

A 3 hours guided visit to Murano: the worldwide famous island for the glassblowing's tradition! You will enjoy the tour from an artistic, historical, and traditional point of view, admiring the artisans of this peculiar art at work! Your guide will accompany you through the discovery of the techniques of this ancient art, in a tour which includes a demonstration by the real glass craftsmen! You can also choose to attend the optional visit of San Donato’s, the splendid Church of the Island. You will enjoy also a walking tour of Murano islands to admire its picturesque square and the fascinating palaces. A great experience where you will learn the manufacture and glassblowing art.

Meeting Point

Face the Basilica with St. Mark’s Square behind you. Walk straight to the waterfront (Riva degli Schiavoni), passing the Doge’s Palace on your right. Turn left along the promenade and walk about 100m. Look for Calle de le Rasse on your left, enter, and after a short walk, you’ll reach Venice Tours.

The glassblowing art is recognized in all the world as a synonym of beauty. This art of molding the glass in all these shapes, was one of the best safeguarded secrets in the Venetian Republic. After the glass-making demonstration you will enjoy a island walking tour: the guide will narrate secrets and myths of Murano. You'll visit also the wonderful Church of San Donato, a masterpiece of the Venetian architecture symbol of the island. Exclusive experience to learn this incredible artisan art of the venetian laggon.
