The beauty of JW Marriott Venice is being a twenty minute ride by motorboat to St. Mark’s Square and yet secluded from the crowds on a green private island.

Our private complimentary shuttle service connects to the Resort’s own pier located in a strategic position, next to St. Mark’s Square, just in front of the Royal Gardens.

The boat runs at regular times, from Isola delle Rose to and back; the ride takes about 20 minutes.

The service cannot be reserved and is operated at a fixed timetable. The shuttle boat guarantees maximum 35 seats. The hotel accepts no responsibility for delays or cancellations of the service, due to technical problems or force majeure. Time schedule is subject to changes without notice. Please also note that in some circumstances due to bad weather conditions the alternative pier "San Marco" on the right could be used by our shuttle service.

Experience the history and nature of Venice in the lagoon aboard your own classic boat. Guests will step back in time on a truly unique classic wooden boat. Sweet Molly was built in 1938  and is equipped  with a modern hybrid drive system allowing guests to enjoy the lagoon in silence with an electric engine while also benefitting from the use of a faster engine when needed.  Guests will be welcomed by their experienced driver who will greet them at the hotel then departing via Sweet Molly  for islands in the Northern lagoon. Your tour will pass by the islands of Certosa and  Vignole. Next, we will head for the garden of Venice Sant ’Erasmo, where guests can stop for a swim at the Baccan or in the  smaller and natural  canal of Lazaretto Nuovo. From there, guests will head around Sant ‘Erasmo past San Francesco del Deserto. Sweet Molly will then drive past Burano and Mazzorbo, where guests can take a short walk through Burano. Lastly, we will head for Torcello where guests can see one of the oldest churches  in Veneto the  Church of Santa Maria Assunta. With its mix of Byzantine and Venetian architecture this structure stands as a very interesting reminder of how rich history in the Venetian lagoon is.  After our visit we will head back to the JW. Step back in time and see the magic of the lagoon of Venice aboard Sweet Molly.

i.      If the client is unable to make the date and time of their booking, CBV will be happy to change to another date and time 24 hours prior to the booking and if the driver’s availability and CBV‘s booking situation allows. A change to another day or time prior 24 hours before departure is possible, against a surplus charge of 5 % of the charter fee.    ii.      Cancellations 31 days prior to the date of booking 95% of the costs will be refunded.

iii.      Between 30 days and 15 days prior, 75% will be refunded.

  iv.      Between 14 days and 8 days prior 50% will be refunded.

  v.      between 7 days and 48 hours prior 25% will be refunded.

 vi.      between 48 hours and 12 hours 10 % will be refunded.

 vii.      Bookings which are cancelled within 12 hours prior cannot be refunded.

Berengo Studio was founded in 1989 by Adriano Berengo. Inspired by the collaborative work of Peggy Guggenheim and Egidio Costantini in Murano during the 1960s who invited masters such as Picasso and Chagall to produce art in glass in the ‘Fucina degli Angeli’ (Furnace of Angels), Berengo decided to further this vision of creative collaboration and bring its vital energy into the world of the 21st century. He recognised the potential for glass as a medium for art, but also noticed how difficult it was for contemporary artists to access the world of such a complex medium. With Berengo Studio he hoped to open the furnace doors, providing a space in which artists could come to think in glass. His efforts to open the world of glass to the wider contemporary art world have forged a new path for art made with glass, where Berengo Studio has remained at the forefront, testing the boundaries of contemporary glass-making with an innovative and inventive approach.

When Berengo began, he started by inviting important contemporary artists, most of whom had never worked with glass before, to Murano in the late 1980s to collaborate with skilled craftsmen. The results saw traditional techniques reinvigorated with avant-garde ideas, and as the Studio went from strength to strength it expanded, developing a specialised casting studio alongside the furnace to experiment with new forms of working with glass. Berengo’s enterprise has seen the Studio work with over 300 artists, including names such as Ai Weiwei, Tracey Emin, Thomas Schütte, and Laure Prouvost. The dynamic partnerships created in the Studio have even resulted in the development of original techniques as craftsmen push themselves to their limits to fully realize an artist’s creative vision.

In 2019 the Studio made history when it became the first to collaborate with three different artists and national pavilions at the Venice Biennale of Arts, producing sculptures in glass for the Italian, French, and Austrian pavilions. Today sculptures made at Berengo Studio can be found in museums, galleries, and private collections around the world and the studio is seen as the leading glass furnace for artistic collaborations.

Booking in advance is highly recommended, subject to availability walk-in services are also available.

YOUNG ADULTS & TREATMENTS SERVICES
You must be over 18 years to book the full range of treatments. Young adults aged 16 and 17-years may receive manicure, pedicure, taster facial treatments and limited spa day packages. Please ask for full details on booking. Young adults aged 16 and 17-years are not permitted to receive any massage or massage based treatments.
Children aged 15 and under may only book manicure and pedicure services whilst accompanied by a responsible adult. Childeren aged 15 and under are not permitted to book any wellness spa day experiences.

Complimentary shuttle service between St Mark's Square and our Resort.

The beauty of JW Marriott Venice is being a twenty minute ride by motorboat to St. Mark’s Square and yet secluded from the crowds on a green private island.

Our private complimentary shuttle service connects to the Resort’s own pier located in a strategic position, next to St. Mark’s Square, just in front of the Royal Gardens.

The boat runs at regular times, from Isola delle Rose to and back; the ride takes about 20 minutes.

The service cannot be reserved and is operated at a fixed timetable. The shuttle boat guarantees maximum 35 seats. The hotel accepts no responsibility for delays or cancellations of the service, due to technical problems or force majeure. Time schedule is subject to changes without notice. Please also note that in some circumstances due to bad weather conditions the alternative pier "San Marco" on the right could be used by our shuttle service.
