The Venice Canal Historic District is embedded in the residential Venice suburb of Los Angeles, California. The historic district is noteworthy for possessing man-made wetland canals, built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney as part of his Venice of America.

Muscle Beach Venice
An original hangout of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, and other big names in bodybuilding and film, this is still an active outdoor gym on the beach, run by the LA Department of Recreation and Parks.

Venice Beach Boardwalk

Take a stroll along the palm tree lined Ocean Front Walk with its beautiful beach views, performers, artists, and vendors. This is a top place to visit in LA, and we will usually make at least one food stop here. This is a great place for photos and picking up souvenirs.

Stop by this impressive skate park, and witness a vibrant community of skaters as well as spectators. Venice and Santa Monica are the birthplace of skater culture, and you will be in awe of talented skaters who seem to defy gravity with effortless style.
