Exploring Summit County’s backcountry routes on pillow-soft powder in winter is scenic, peaceful, and will make you feel like you have the mountains all to yourself. Snowshoeing is easy to learn, fun for everyone, and can be a great high energy cardio workout. Join us for an unforgettable day on one of the many pristine Colorado backcountry trails.
Beginning 12/24/24: Tuesday shoeing will cost only $99 per person and trips will be public. Tuesday trips will be "all-ability" level, on the Salt Lick Trail just out our HQ door. Other days, shoeing trips are private with customizable objectives.
We can provide you with more-advanced, higher-paced snowshoe hikes or just a relaxing family adventure in the woods. Our guides know where to go—based on your preferences, weather, and snow conditions—to provide you with a safe and enjoyable snowshoeing guided tour. Our half-day tour lasts about 4 hours and departs daily at 8 am and 1 pm. Snowshoes and poles are included for each tour.

Half Day Guided Snowshoe Tour Near Breckenridge Colorado Adventure Guides
Tuesday snowshoeing trips will cost only $99 per person and will be public trips where you can meet new friends! The Tuesday objective will be the Salt Lick Trail, a lovely trail suitable for most ability levels. Minimum age twelve so all can enjoy it. We reserve the right to cancel Tuesday trips for insufficient participation. All other shoeing trips will continue to be private with objectives determined by the guide and participants. Hike a tranquil loop around a pristine mountain meadow, explore a shady canyon or embark on a heart pounding trek up a snow shrouded peak to witness spectacular winter views. Nothing quite compares to the silence of walking through the woods and seeing the snow shimmer in the sun. Snowshoeing allows individuals and groups with varying levels of fitness to achieve this bliss.
