Experience Colorado with a local guide who knows many secret spots in Rocky Mountain National Park and can get you away from the crowds, into the right habitat where you have a much better probability of finding wildlife. Your guide will make sure to help you connect with nature intimately in a way that resonates with you deeply.

Lyons
30 minutes
Lyons is where the foothills meet the plains. We will take an easy stroll along a stream and look for wildlife like prairie dogs, Bald and Golden Eagles, Great Horned Owl, American Dipper, White-throated Swift, Lazuli Bunting, and Bighorn sheep.

Allenspark
40 minutes
Photograph the historic Chapel on the Rock, drink from a mountain spring, and if you like birds, we can visit a wildlife habitat certified yard with feeders that can attract Evening Grosbeaks, Red Crossbills, Cassin's Finches, Steller's Jays, Mountain Chickadees, and Pygmy Nuthatches. In the summer, there are good chances for Band-tailed Pigeon here too.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Enjoy several short easy hikes in off-the beaten places that have potential to turn up wildlife like mule deer, elk, moose, yellow-bellied marmot, American pika, Clark's Nutcracker, Steller's Jay, Mountain Bluebird, Williamson's Sapsucker, Red-naped Sapsucker, and American Three-toed Woodpecker. Along the way, learn about the ecology and natural history of this mountain wonderland.
