Step aboard a classic 1920s-style yacht for the AIANY Climate Change Tour: Resiliency, Sustainable Architecture and the Future of NYC and learn about how climate change is affecting our city and people, and the actions NYC is taking to mitigate pending threats and reduce its carbon footprint.
This tour will address the pressing need for sustainable design and greater resiliency, delving into how New York City is reducing fossil fuel consumption, strengthening its natural habitats, and reimagining its transportation infrastructure. The tour will also explore the importance of the environmental justice movement in New York City.

We're located at the northernmost end of the Chelsea Piers Complex, at Pier 62. Our ticket booth is located at the corner of Pier 62 at the Hudson River, just steps away from our dock.

We will cruise by green buildings, sustainable parks, renewable energy sites, post-Superstorm Sandy flood walls and resiliency measures, recycling plants and the future home of an offshore wind turbine assembly pier

- Guarantee of a full circumnavigation of Manhattan is not included. On rare occasions, the Spuyten Duyvil train bridge is inoperable and cannot open for us to pass through. This is often times not known until our tour is underway. River closures may also occur for a number of reasons. There are no refunds for tours that cannot fully circumnavigate. We will accommodate such cases with a tour that features a double backing of the route and further detail of the waterfront sites
