Wall Street
Explore the site of the infamous James Rivington publishing house, which cunningly printed British Propaganda while secretly sending coded messages to General George Washington's Patriot spies. Stand in awe at the location of the notorious Sugar House Prison, now the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where beneath the building's surface lies a vault safeguarding one of the world's largest gold reserves. Discover the chilling history of this once-infamous British prison, which housed the likes of Ethan Allen, a famous Patriot from the Green Mountain Boys. Conclude your journey at Fraunces Tavern, a revered national historic landmark, museum, and restaurant. This storied establishment served as a pivotal meeting place for the Sons of Liberty, where their plans against the British took shape. It was also the site of George Washington's heartfelt farewell to his troops after the Revolutionary War victory.
