Eastern Market is one of the oldest continuously operating public markets in DC. It lets you explore an array of stalls selling everything from fresh produce and meat to handmade crafts and baked goods. We weave history into our culinary journey.
Try a Mid-Atlantic staple while you learn about the original taverns of DC. You will then visit a veteran-focused pub to sample a bar favorite while learning about the oldest Marine Corps post in the US. Meet your guide at the corner of 7th and C St Southeast; by the historic marker sign (it says Tour of Duty Stop 16 at the top!) outside the restaurant "the Duck and the Peach" - we do not eat here and are not affiliated with the restaurant but it is a good landmark to find the meeting spot.
