What You Will Do
This is a compelling, 2 hour, professionally guided tour of the City Waterfront and Port of Tacoma! Enjoy the 12 mile long adventure and sights of bald eagles, seals, Mt. Rainier the Olympic Mountains, ships, tugboats, bridges and the wonders of the secret passage! You will be shown the splendors of the wildlife, history, ecology and adventure on Puget Sound! We travel on a very seaworthy, ex-US Navy boat that is mostly open but has a covered area. Our boats and captains are inspected and licensed by the US Coast Guard. (Senior Age is 62.)

Itinerary
Meeting Point
We meet you out on the pier that is out on the water side of the Museum of Glass. Wait there and the crew will come up from the dock to greet you. Please bring a light jacket, sunglasses, hat and a bit of water. There is not a bathroom on the boat (2-Hour Tour).

Commencement Bay
We enjoy spanning views of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountains from the wide open but calm waters of Puget Sound. Ships, Tugs, Seals and Bald Eagles surround us.

Tacoma is the "City of Destiny" and we are Destiny Harbor Tours! Tacoma was the western end of the Norther Pacific Railway which came to our city in 1874, "Sea to Shining Sea!

Browns Point
See the 1933 Brown's Point light house and lighthouse keeper's house built by the WPA during the depression that marks the entrance to Commencement Bay and the Port of Tacoma.

Old Town
Historic center of of the lumber heydays when Tacoma was one of the richest cities in the world. This is where there were 19 saw mills running a the same time along Ruston Way by the year 1900.

Port of Tacoma
This is the working Port of Tacoma with all the cranes, tugboats and container ships in what is one of the top ten busiest ports in the USA!
