Itinerary Details

Leaving in the morning darkness you will set out on an exciting tour around Iceland. Starting in the geothermal area you get to see the Strokkur geyser erupt, sending hot water up to 20 meters in the sky. Next up is the impressive Gullfoss waterfall. Admire the three-step staircase curved by the wild river Hvítá. Make the short walk down to get closer to the waterfall for the best views and to immerse yourself with the sounds of the water. Continuing your tour, your driver will bring you on to a glacier and test the strengths of the super jeep. Enjoy the exciting drive around the snow on the ice and admire the landscapes flashing by. The glacier ride ends at the snowmobile base camp. A glacier guide will provide you with all the equipment you need and give you a short briefing with some instructions. It is time to hop on the snowmobiles and drive across the second-largest glacier of Iceland, the Langjökull glacier. You will drive to a beautiful man-made ice cave. Walk inside and enjoy the stunning shapes of the ice highlighted by different lights to mark the magnificence of the natural shapes. On the way back to Reykjavik you will stop at Thingvellir National Park to visit the rift between two tectonic plates.
