Glacial meltwater flowing through collapsed lava tubes from Mt. Adams volcano, a USA National Wild and Scenic River - it's stunning!
Adventure awaits in Class III rapids! Husum Falls, an optional Class IV waterfall; contingent upon conditions.
Meet Portland Rafting Company at Northwestern Park.
Our friendly staff will check you in and get you suited up for the river!
Nervous? No need to worry - expert guides will do a river orientation so you know what to expect. After that our guides will load you onto a bus for a 10 minute ride to the boat launch.
The first half of the river trip ends right back at the park for our riverside lunch.
Lunch Includes:
Burritos / Burrito Bowls: Veggie, Chicken or Steak
Option of cheese, sour crème and guacamole
Spicy and Mild Salsa option
Sparkling or still water and soda, with corn chips
After lunch we descend into the Lower Canyon exploring the former reservoir, removed dam site and much more.
A large waterfall must be walked around by all participants, this requires the use of hand rails while climbing a steep wall, all participants must be fully mobile.
A mile of flatwater paddling, sometimes against the wind.
Exciting whitewater and lunch!
