Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macau Bridge Bus (HKZMB-Bus) is a fast and convenient way to travel HK – Macau and HK – Zhuhai. Compared to the original 3.5-hour driving or 1-hour ferry, now it only takes 45 minutes to take you from Hong Kong to Macau through HKZMB-Bus. The bus ticket is also much cheaper compared to ferry boat tickets.

The bus ride is also a great sight-seeing tour, as the bus will pass through HKZMB, the longest sea crossing and the longest fixed link on the earth. The HKZMB is a 55-km (34 mi) bridge–tunnel system consisting of a series of three cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel, and four artificial islands.

Itinerary Details

HKZMB-Bus operates 24 hours a day. It has two lines including Hong Kong-Zhuhai line and Hong Kong-Macau line. Initially, a fleet of 140 buses are put into operation and they are available every 5 to 10 minutes during rush hours or 10 to 15 minutes during non-rush hours. Leaving from Zhuhai Port on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, the shuttle buses can take you to its counterpart Hong Kong Port in just 40 minutes. In the past, it took at least 3 hours to travel one way between Hong Kong and Zhuhai by bus. 

Hong Kong Port Terminal: locating on the artificial island, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Hong Kong Port borders Hong Kong International Airport to the east. The artificial island covers an area of 150 hectares including 130 hectares for the port and 20 hectares for the road linking Tuen Mun and Chulocock Island.

Macau Port Terminal: Macau Port locates close together with its counterpart HKZMB Zhuhai Port on the frontier port artificial island. It consists of the Frontier Post, the East and the West Car Parks as well as auxiliary services & facilities. 

Zhuhai Port Terminal: Zhuhai Port locates to the north side on the frontier port artificial island. Covering an area of 1.07 million square meters, it is the only road port in the Pearl River Delta that interconnects Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau while providing customs clearance to both passengers and freights. 

How to get your bus tickets: after we receive your order information, you will get an instant confirmation. According to the shuttle bus company's policy, the ticket only can be issued 10 days before your travel date, however we can reserved the ticket for your travel date, when the ticket is released, we will send you either a QR code or a booking number. You can use the QR code or booking number to claim your bus tickets at the bus terminal, depends on the rules and instructions at the bus terminal.

  • Before boarding the bus, passengers need to present valid bus tickets and passport/visa or other required travel documents; failure to do so will result in denial of boarding and no refund will be issued;
  • Children three years or older (or height above 95 cm) need to buy tickets; a child under 3 years old and below 95cm could ride the bus for free, as long as the child is accompanied by an adult passenger and sits on the lap of the adult; if more than one such child (under 3 years old and below 95cm in height) are accompanied by the same adult, only one child is free of charge and the others need to buy tickets;
  • Each passenger can bring one luggage for free (maximum dimension 30in x 20in x 13in, maximum weight 44pounds);
  • In case of abnormal situation (including but not limited to heavy rain, storm, or any other situation that is beyond the bus company’s control), the bus company has the right to change or cancel the bus schedule without notice; In case of cancellation, passengers have seven days to contact the customer service of bus company to request refund or change;
  • If you have any plan following the bus ride, please reserve enough time and make sure your plan will not be affected; if the bus is delayed or cancelled due to any situation that is beyond the bus company’s control, the bus company will not be responsible for your missing flights or other important business.
  • Bus Company has the right to deny a particular passenger’s boarding for safety reasons; if the passenger has serious illness that makes him/her not suitable for bus ride, the bus company has the right to deny passenger boarding;
  • Animals, pets, food with strong smell, hazardous items, and items not allowed by custom are not allowed in the bus;
  • Passengers need to ensure the safety of their belongings, include luggage, documents, and valuables; the bus company will not be responsible for passengers’ loss caused by self-ignorance; if passengers’ luggage gets damaged or lost due to bus company employees’ mistake, the bus company will compensate a maximum of HK$300 for each incident;
  • Passengers need to following the rules on the bus; passengers cannot disturb driver, conductor, or any other passengers in any ways; No smoking, eating, or drinking in the bus; no painting or damage on any part of the bus;
  • Other than the liability provided by the bus company’s insurance company, we as the tickets vendor will not be responsible for any accident, loss, damage, etc.
  • The shuttle bus service is provided by a third-party company (the bus company), under the rules/regulations of the company. We are not legally responsible for any loss, damage, injury, incident, delay, change, and any other inconvenience, under any condition.
