Stop At: La Cinta Muraria - Camminamento di Ronda
The Parapet Walkway is 15 meters above Cittadella’s walls on the historic defensive walkway whose purpose was to defend the town from above in the event of enemy attack. Recent renovation work has made the historic Walkway safe for the public and it is an excellent opportunity to explore the town from a new and attractive historic perspective, a unique walk through history. The visitors’ route is almost two kilometers long and many of the medieval museums and re-enactment rooms in the Captain’s house can be visited en route. Inside the Torre di Malta, moreover, you can visit the almost thirty meter high Belvedere, the Siege Museum and the Civic Archaeological Museum. The view ranges over the countryside around the town including the Euganean Hills, the Berici mountains, the Alpine foothills with the walled towns of Marostica and Asolo and Mt. Grappa.

There is an art gallery, including the grandiose "Supper at Emmaus", a Renaissance masterpiece by Jacopo Bassano. Inside you can find all kinds of artwork as paintings, sculptures and applied arts from different historical periods, starting from the fourteenth century

It was the seat of the Podesta at the time of the Venetian Republic, “Serenissima”. Inside there are frescoes of fake tapestry with vertical bands, polychrome friezes, circles and medallions with portraits of illustrious characters of the past, as well as the ancient prisons of the Magistrates' Court.
