This is the first stop during the trip. The 145 m high volcanic cone is a place where birds can be found.
There you can observe herring gull, rock pigeon and tern among several other species of birds that are looking for this place to nest and rest.

It owes its name to the image of Nossa Senhora da Guia, the patron of fishermen, whose chapel Nossa Senhora da Guia at the top of the hill dominates the landscape.
