Itinerary

Day 1: Salt Lake City to Yellowstone National Park Northern Loop

Stop At: Mammoth Hot Springs, 1 Grand Loop Road, Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190
Mammoth Hot Springs is one of the grandest thermal features in Yellowstone. Walk the boardwalks, marvel at the colorful bacterial skirts, and view all the fountains and running thermal water. We will visit the Albright Visitor's Center.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park, WY
The Lamar Valley is best for watching wildlife. Herds of Bison, Elk, Pronghorn, Bears, and for the very lucky visitor, Wolves may be seen in Lamar Valley.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Tower Fall, Yellowstone National Park, WY
Tower Fall is located near an incredible cliff of volcanic columnar joints.

Stop At: Gibbon Falls, Along the Grand Loop Road, Yellowstone National Park, WY
Beautiful falls from Gibbon River.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Great Loop Road at Canyon Village, Yellowstone National Park, WY
the "Grand Canyon" of Yellowstone is a must see attraction. We will view the lower falls from the South Rim Trail. Along the raging river below, we will see further evidence of the thermal activity of Yellowstone National Park. Look for fumaroles, geysers, and thermophilic bacterial skirts.

Pass By: Hayden Valley, Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190
In Hayden Valley, we will have another opportunity to see wildlife within the park.

Stop At: Dragon's Mouth Springs, Yellowstone National Park, WY
Dragon's Mouth Spring is a geyser within a cave which gives the appearance of a smoking dragon's mouth. The sound of the geyser within the cave sounds like a large dragon breathing. Also located at Dragon's Mouth is the Mud Volcano.

Stop At: West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Lake, Yellowstone National Park, WY
Geysers along the shore of Yellowstone Lake.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Isa Lake, located on the continental divide. This small body of water is unique in that it drains to the east and west, with its waters eventually leading to the Gulf of Mexico, or the Pacific Ocean.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Old Faithful, Center Loop Road, Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190
The most iconic sight in Yellowstone National Park, Old Faithful Geyser! The geyser is so named due to the reliability of its eruptions. We will spend 1 to 2 hours near the geyser and the historic lodge to guarantee seeing an eruption.

Stop At: Grand Prismatic Spring, Midway Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park, WY
This colorful hot spring is the largest spring in the united states, and the third largest hot spring in the world! The vibrant colors found in the waters are caused by thermophilic (heat loving) bacteria.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 3: West Yellowstone to Grand Teton National Park to Salt Lake City

Stop At: Jenny Lake Trail, Jenny Lake, Grand Teton National Park, WY
Jenny Lake is a glacial lake carved from a prehistoric glacier with depths up to 423 ft. A ferry will take us to the other side for a light hike to hidden falls. From here, we will have the opportunity to either hike back to the visitor's center, or book a return trip on the ferry.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Colter Bay Visitor Center, Jackson Lake, Grand Teton National Park, WY 83013
Views of Jackson Lake, Education on Grand Teton National Park.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Jackson, Jackson, Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Pictures with the iconic antler arch, visit the charming town center, and a final treat and lunch to go before beginning our journey back to Salt Lake City.
Duration: 1 hour
