The private snorkeling tour is a unique experience, guided by an experienced host and yacht captain who is a true expert on Aruban marine life. The captain started life in the sailing world about 35 years ago and loves to share stories to the guests from all those years. The captain and crew are always ready to pull out fishing- and snorkeling gear for the guests and offer pointers to beginners and advanced folk alike. During the tour, the yacht captain or crew will make underwater pictures of your snorkeling adventure that will be shared upon request. The 55 feet motor yacht 'Strea', Papiamento for 'Star', is very spacious and can offer a comfortable experience for up to 12 guests without feeling crowded.

Stop At: Mangel Halto Beach

Mangel Halto is a beautiful beach at Pos Chikito in Aruba. Mangel Halto is located between the mangrove forests, and is a quiet beach of about 600 meters long. North of the beach is the Spanish Lagoon nature reserve. The water is calm and shallow, suitable for snorkeling and kayaking. You can walk to the reef, but beyond the reef the ocean deepens to 110 meters, and squid, moray eels, and sea pike are abundant. Since 2019, the area has been protected as part of the Marine Park Aruba.

The Spaans Lagoen (Spanish lagoon) is a wetland and protected area of Aruba. It is the only inner bay of Aruba, and has been formed during the last ice age. It contains tidal mudflats and mangrove swamps, and is an importance feeding and breeding ground for birds. The Spaans Lagoen is adjacent to and part of the Arikok National Park.
