During this small group tour you will visit 3 wineries and it'll give you a good overview on the wine-making scene of Šumadija. You'll try wines from local indigenous varieties in Despotika Winery, then you'll learn about the King's Wine Cellar and its historical exhibition where you'll try 2 of their wines. At the end you'll explore the eminent Aleksandrović Winery and here you'll learn why they are considered for a premium Serbian winemaker. Stop At:
Your first wine stop is the village of Vlaški Do and Despotika Winery, a relatively young winery with ambitious plans and an enthusiastic owner. Despotika has several wine labels made from different kinds of grapes, but one is unique – Morava, indigenous Serbian grape variety. Only a few winemakers in Serbia grow Morava, so you’ll have a unique opportunity to try this white wine. You'll also try two more wines from indigenous grape variety - Prokupac. You'll try rose from and red.

Stop At:
The wine tour goes on to the capital of Šumadija wine region, to the town Topola. This is where the Royal family Karađorđević set up their vineyards and created the famous Trijumf (Triumph) wine. You will see the original king’s wine cellar and you'll learn how the king made his wine some 85 year ago. The biggest treasure of the Royal Cellar is the old archive where they keep wines from 1930s. After the visit of the old cellars you'll try their contemporary wines: Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Stop At: Winery Aleksandrovic
As the last stop on the wine itinerary we'll take you to a premium Serbian winemaker - Aleksandrović. We will explain what connects King's Winery and Aleksandrović Winery. After a short introduction and tour through their cellar you'll try three of their wines. One of them will be the Triumph wine, made by the original recipe as in the King's Winery.

After all the wine stops are covered, you'll take a lunch break in an excellent local restaurant in Topola. Your guide will assist you with the choice of food and drinks. The restaurant has a great choice of Šumadija wines, so if you are in the mood of trying some more, you'll be in a perfect spot. Recommendations on what to order will be provided. After you finish lunch, we'll take you back to Belgrade.
