Our first destination is the Karakorum. This city once served as the capital of the Mongolian Empire and an essential station of the Silk Road. Karakorum city has much more to share than its current physical appearance. Mongolia’s largest and the historically most significant religious and cultural center – Erdenezuu Monastery – is operating as a museum there. ElsenTasarkhai, a marvelous oasis with sand dunes, vegetation, lake, and birds, is located 80km from the Karakorum. Therefore, during this trip, you have the chance to experience the noteworthy, historical, religious, natural and adventurous side of Mongolia, all in one short period of time. Itinerary Details
Day 1 Visit the site of Ancient capital
Stop At: Erdene Zuu Monastery
After meeting in Ulaanbaatar drive to the Karakorum, the symbolic ruins of the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit Erdene-Zuu, the oldest monastery, with 108 stupas, built in 1586.
Duration: 6 hour
Stop At: Kharakhorum Museum
Then visit the Karakorum museum and see the Great Mongol state period, Stone Age, Bronze Age, Ancient state period halls.
Duration: 2 hour
Day 2 Visit Elsen tasarkhai and camel ride trial
Stop At:
In the morning, drive to Elsen Tasarkhai - Gobi type area with huge sand dunes. After lunch in a tourist camp, there is an opportunity for a camel ride trial through the sand dunes. In the evening, we will play traditional games and stay overnight in a tourist camp.

Day 3 Drive back to Ulaanbaatar
Stop At:
After breakfast, drive back to Ulaanbaatar and finish the trip.
