Stop At: Robben Island Museum

Arrive 30 minutes before the time shown on your ticket at Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island Silo District, V&A Waterfront with a copy of your ID on your phone or the original. Skip the ticketing line and proceed directly to the boat departures line. Once you have boarded the shared boat you will set sail for 30-minutes on the open sea to Robben Island Museum. Upon your arrival at the Robben Island Jetty, you will disembark the boat and be guided on a bus by an ex-political prisoner who is a Robben Island Tour Guide for a tour of the island. The guide will provide live commentary about Robben Island and its history, indicating the various homes of ex-political prisoners and other landmarks.
