National Palace or Istana Negara (in Malay) is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (formerly Jalan Duta) in Segambut, northwestern Kuala Lumpur. Travelers are only able to catch a glimpse of the magnificent complex from outside its entrance gates. Besides, you can take a photo with royal guard at the main gate.

Merdeka Square or (in Malay called as Dataran Merdeka) is a square located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
