Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada by a modern, air-conditioned bus at approximately 02:30 AM and take you to your coach that goes to Cairo. You will have the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful, sand-smooth eastern desert, which offers a special sight through its mountains and hills, as well as oases and plains.

Stop At: The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

Upon arrival in Cairo, head to the city center to explore the galleries of the remarkable Egyptian Museum, which houses an amazing collection of relics from the pre-dynastic era through the Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman era. A highlight of the museum are the artifacts of the child king Tutankhamun. You can also take the time to see exhibits of other Pharaonic gods and goddesses, and visit the mummy room to learn more about mummification in ancient Egypt.

Then, board a felucca, a type of sailboat typical of Egypt, and cross the Nile. After lunch, your Egyptologist guide will take you to the breathtaking Giza Pyramids on the Giza Plateau. The oldest of the 7 wonders of the world, the pyramids of Cheops, Khafire and Mykerinos are the highlight of the necropolis of Giza. Then, visit the Sphinx, which carries the head of a pharaoh on the body of a lion.
