The Association, in an area of enhancement of the territory, proposes a different visit from the usual. In a splendid walk, through the use of tablets, the participants challenge each other in a game enriched with multimedia contents, to discover the history of dolmens and menhirs. At 7 km from Otranto rises Giurdignano, the Megalithic Garden of Italy, defined thus because between the historic center and the surrounding countryside lies the highest concentration of megalithic monuments in Italy, which, beyond the various interpretative readings, represent places of cult since prehistoric times. In addition, two wonders of the stone are offered to visitors in an exceptional way because they are normally closed to the public: the Byzantine crypt of San Salvatore (VIII century) and the hypogean oil mill "Trappitello del duca" (XVI century). The visit concludes with the discovery of a majestic and imposing dolmen for its architecture.
