Where possible I'm drawn to smaller business and try to support where I can. Ira's tours was wonderful and I can see why he is so highly rated. He has really put years and effort into into researching the areas and finding interestings tidbits. It's also very clear that he has seen the area change over the years but also wants to give you some of the history around that and help you to imagine what it was like back then (he grew up in the area).

Even though it was just the two of us who'd booked - Ira was ever the professional and gave us his twist pointing out areas of note. You travel into areas that you would never have been able to if you were touring solo - the area you cover is vast. He also goes above and beyond and you get a goodie bag when you leave - I am not going to spoil what you get but go on the tour to receive your own ;)

In a twist of faith, Ira happened to be on another tour that I had booked to get ideas. I am waiting for him and his wife (Shout out to Mrs L) to start to do their own food tour that covers the food they like which is the food I like ;) You both know I'll fly back over from the UK for it...

Learned so much and loved our guide. He was extremely informative and willing to answer whatever questions we had. I highly recommend going on this tour whether you are a native Baltimorean or a tourist.

Excellent tour. We were able to see and learn about many Baltimore neighborhoods that we had never visited, many of which don't show up in guidebooks. Our guide is a native of Baltimore, as is his father, who created this tour and owns the business. Baltimore has an interesting history and we enjoyed hearing about the rich cultural diversity that has enriched this wonderful city.
