Which was the role of large landlords in the development of the country? Was Argentina really a world economic power? These are just some of the many questions we will try to answer in our walk through the most aristocratic part of town.

Stop At: Plaza San Martin
Beginning in General San Martín Plaza and ending in Recoleta Cementery, this walk offers you the chance to approach this beautiful city from its historical past in an attempt to understand its current present.

Stop At: Estacion Retiro San Martin
We will visit the biggest train Station in Latin America to understand the export-oriented agricultural economy. We will explain why does Argentina has such a large train system and why British capital was so interested in its development.

Stop At: Torre Monumental
We will talk about the British community in Buenos Aires and the reason of their presence in this shores.

Stop At: Edificio Kavanagh
We will talk about the "Belle Epoque" and how it change the city for ever. We will also adress the role of large landlords in the development of the country.

Stop At: Palacio San Martin
We will visit some ot the palaces built by the Pampa's landlords. We will talk about how they managed to have so much arable land and where did they spent all that welth.
