This beautiful temple is dedicated to Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music, art, wisdom and learning. It is built in 1951 and designed by one of the most popular Balinese Architect Gusti Nyoman Lempad. The design of the temple was based on Tri Mandala philosophy, which divide the temple area into three areas: Nista Mandala, Madya mandala, and Utama Mandala.
