Sighisoara , a World Heritage Site and the only still inhabited medieval citadel of today Romania , was developed by the German settlers since late 12th century. It stands on a network of tunnels and catacombs and, according to one version of the myth , this is where the Pied Piper brought the children of Hamelin after their ungrateful parents refused to pay him his due. Walking tour highlights: The Clock Tower & History Museum (climb up for a great view) , House of Dracula ( is the place where the famous Vlad the Impaler alias Dracula was born in 1431. Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania
Bran Castle became so famous thanks to the irish writer Bram Stoker and his book , Dracula . The legendary Bran ( Dracula`s ) Castle have the first historical reference in a document issued on November 19th, 1377 by Ludwig I d’Anjou , king of Poland and Hungary , by which Brasov’s inhabitants received the privilege of building a fortress “at their own work and expense”. The Bran Castle was restored under the supervision of Karel Liman between 1920-1922 . He was the architect of the Romanian Royal Court, who turned it in a beautiful summer residence surrounded by a park with promenade alleys, a lake, fountains, arbors, and a tea house. Here you will find out how this legend was born and why Transylvania is until nowadays related to it.

Pass By: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Peles Castle , the former summer residence for the first Royal couple of Romania , King Carol 1st and Queen Elisabeth , is one of the best-preserved summer royal palaces of Europe. On the inside as well as on the outside, the castle is full of ornaments and features elaborate wood sculptures and paintings representing scenes from the works of the German composer Richard Wagner and have all the modern facilities for the last half of the XIXth century (electricity, vacuum cleaner, electrical elevator and central heating). Here you will also find out the story of the Royal couples in Romania and their important influence in the history of our country. The visit lasts about 45 minutes after which you could visit the beautiful gardens of the castle .

Stop At: Sinaia Monastery, Manastirii 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Everything start from 1695 monastery . Named after St. Catherine Monastery on Mount Sinai, Sinaia became the unofficial capital of the Kingdom of Romania towards the end of the 19th century.
The monastery consists of two courtyards surrounded by low buildings and in the centre of small courtyard there is a small church built in the Byzantine style , The Old Church . The Great Church was built in 1846 and inside are the portrait of King Carol I and his wife , Queen Elisabeth .
