Hiking to the mountain lake

Trademark of National Park Pelister are Molika pine tree, stone rivers-morenas, clear spring waters, and especially the Big and Small Moutain lakes also known as Pelister eyes. This is an enjoyable and unique opportunity for all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy mountain landscapes and surroundings. The trail starts from village Nizopole at 1170m a.s.l. and passes through mountain pastures areas covered in grass and blueberry covert and beautiful views of surrounding mountains. With moderate hiking, It will take us about 3 hours to the big Lake at 2218m. At the lake, we will have a short rest, picnic lunch and after that, we can continue 10min.more to reach a point where we can see the all lake from above and take good pictures. We have 2 hours. descent to the village Nize pole.
