Day 1 Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik City Hotel Accommodation

Stop At:

Welcome to Iceland Individual transfer by Coach from Keflavik Airport to a bus stop near your accommodation in Reykjavík where you spend the night. We provide you with ideas how to explore Iceland’s capital on your own.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Aurora Reykjavik

Later in the night proceed for Northern Lights hunting. The Northern Lights tour in Iceland takes you to see a spectacular natural phenomenon which happens during the winter months. Additional information: Remember to dress warmly. This tour depends on weather, activity, and sightings are not guaranteed. Indicated return times can vary due to road & weather conditions. If you don't see any lights on the tour you can re-book again for free. The tour is scheduled daily, however, we do cancel the tour if the forecast for the weather- and the aurora is not promising enough when we cancel, passengers who are booked can change their booking to another date.

Day 2 The Reykjavik Tour in 24 hours

The Reykjavik Tour in 24 hours A bus tour with City Sightseeing and explore Reykjavík at your leisure, with the opportunity to hop on and off at conveniently located bus stops. This bus pass is valid for 24 hours so you take your time to enjoy a full day of Reykjavik. It's a city that boasts the best of both worlds; a modern, trendy and forward-looking capital whilst at the same time being so close to its unspoiled nature. Reykjavik truly is a magical place to behold.

Day 3 Golden Circle: This tour takes you on a day trip to see the world-famous Geysir, Gullfoss and Thingvellir National Park.

Day 4 South of Iceland

Stop At: Lava Centre

We start our tour from Reykjavik and head to the Lava Centre in Hvolsvöllur. It is approximately an hour and half ride. We will stop at Lava Centre for a short break and you are able to grab light snacks and use the facilities. The Lava Centre is dedicated to Iceland's riveting volcanic activity and it's frequent earthquakes.

Stop At: Seljalandsfoss

Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljalandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat along if you want to walk behind it.

Stop At: Skogafoss

Skógafoss is an iconic Icelandic waterfall, it is the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail over into Þórsmörk. The waterfall was also used in filming Thor: The Dark World and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Huge blocks of ice constantly break off the glacier, Breiðamerkurjökull, and large icebergs float on the lagoon. The lagoon is not very wide but it is up to 250 meters deep which makes it the deepest lake in Iceland. Breiðamerkurjökull is an outlet of the Vatnajökull glacier

The Diamond Beach is a strip of black sand located by Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon.Here, the icebergs which fill Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon wash up on shore, standing dazzling and defiant in stark contrast to the black sand beach.

Day 5 Snæfellsnes National Park

The Snæfellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island.The area has beautiful samples of some of the natural wonders Iceland is so famous for. This includes black beaches, magnificent mountains, volcanic craters, incredible birdlife, magical caves, and of course, the most picturesque glacier of them all, Snæfellsjökull. This tour stops at the small fishing village of Arnarstapi and provides real insight into quintessential volcanic craters. Along the way you’ll get great views of the iconic Kirkjufell mountain and the dark cliffs and black sand of Djúpalónssandur bay are a favourite among photographers. In the middle of this beautiful peninsula sits Snæfellsjökull, the stunning glacier that has captured the imagination of people all over the world, including Jules Verne who began his "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" at Snæfellsjökull glacier. The tour offers numerous views of this beautiful landmark.

The Blue Lagoon offers a lava and moss filled scenery, state of the art facilities, a unique atmosphere and silica masks that make your skin extra firm, yet incredibly soft! For these reasons and many more, visitors from all over the world visit the Blue Lagoon daily, and many return again and again. After having enjoyed all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you return to Reykjavík.
