This trip will allow you to discover the main sites of the Cusco region, cradle of the Inca Empire, which will allow you to learn much more about the history of the Incas, we will pass through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, equally important in the pre-Columbian culture, until reach the most important architectural jewel of Peru, Machupicchu, a legendary and majestic site that will leave you with an unforgettable memory. We will have the opportunity to travel along the ancient Inca roads, we will take a path accessible to all small, large, between friends or family. Our path starts from the small town of Patabamba, small but very picturesque and original, and we will end in the sacred valley. A unique experience spending three nights in the house of the inhabitants of the Andes to share their beliefs and cultures.

Day 1 Cusco The Navel of the World

Stop At: Cusco

In the morning we will go out to discover the capital of the ancient empire of the Incas, beginning our visit with the temple of the Sun God the "Koricancha", we continue with the visit of the cathedral, an impressive building that has numerous paintings from the school of fine arts from Cusco. Afterwards we will leave the city center to visit the 4 most important sites of Cusco; Tambomachay, Pucapucara, Q'enqo and Sacsaywaman. End of the day off

Day 2 Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas

Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas

We will start our day with a visit to Pisac where we will find a series of terraces, ceremonial fountains, observatories and even a necropolis that is considered the largest in the region. It is from this point that the Incas controlled the Sacred Valley. After the visit we will return to the town where we will stop at its craft market, in order to continue our journey to Patabamba, a small mountain town where the families that will spend the night await us.

Day 3 Patabamba – Huchuy Qosqo

Stop At: Huchuy Qosco

Today we will begin our journey on foot where a path of the shepherds takes us to the Pukamarca pass (3900 meters above sea level). A spectacular view over the Urubamba mountain range and the sacred valley appears in front of us. Our trail continues towards the Pumapunku canyon (Puma gate) where we will find an ancient Inca road that has already been restored thanks to the special Qapac Ñan (Great Road) project. This Inca trail will lead us to the mysterious site of Huchuy Qosqo (Cusco Chico) where we will find terraces, stone and adobe buildings. Near this site we will find the family that will welcome us for the night.

Day 4 Huchuy Qosqo – Chinchero

Stop At:

After breakfast with our family, we will take the path that will lead us in the direction of Chinchero. Our trail takes us progressively to the Huallata pass (4400m) from where we will gain an impressive view of the Andes mountain range with its snow-capped peaks. The way down leads us to the small town of Tauca where farmers and llama herders live. Our journey will continue to Chinchero where we will find our last family.

Day 5 Chinchero – Hot waters

Stop At: Aguas Calientes

After the last goodbye to our family we will start our day with a visit to Moray, an old agricultural laboratory that was used more than five hundred years ago to test the resistance of certain products to altitude, then we will visit the salt mines of Maras that come from the pre -Inca and continue to be exploited as before. Our tour will continue towards the heart of the sacred valley, Ollantaytambo is the Inca site that we will visit, after touring its streets, its ceremonial fountains, its main square, we will take our train that will take us to Aguas Calientes, a small town that is located at the foot of Machu Picchu.

Day 6 Machu Picchu-Cusco

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu

In the morning we will take the collective bus that will take us to the most important and sacred site of the Inca era. We will discover an architectural complex built on a narrow ridge surrounded by huge precipices, an impressive vision that evolves with the progress of the sun, we will visit its enclosures, its neighborhoods, its ceremonial fountains, its royal houses, its agricultural areas and its solar observatories. We return to Aguas Calientes to take the train to Ollantaytambo, where our vehicle awaits us to take us to Cusco. *Additional activities to do on site: (not included in the package and booked in advance) Possibility of adding the ascent of Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu according to availability. (These mountains are part of the landscape of the Citadel of Machupicchu and have different schedules and entrances, since it takes longer to climb and visit).
