The Amazon Rescue Center of Iquitos commonly known by its acronym as CREA Iquitos, is a center dedicated to the research, protection and rescue of Amazonian ecosystems and resources, whose purpose is to develop rescue, rehabilitation and release programs for aquatic mammal specimens and endangered wildlife in Loreto, secured through an environmental education and responsible tourism promotion program, contributing to the conservation of the Amazon ecosystem.

The Quistococha Tourist Complex, also known as Quistococha Tourist Park, is an entertainment complex in the City of Iquitos, Peru. Located in the southern region of Iquitos Metropolitano, it is the only tourist park in the Department of Loreto and is officially considered a National Tourist Park within the National Tourist Reservation System of Peru.The complex is adjacent to the Departmental Route and is a notable attraction tourist for the dynamism of Iquitos. The complex occupies a space of 369 hectares of Amazon forest, and embraces the Quistococha Lagoon. It contains an artificial white sand beach called Tunchi Playa, and it is surrounded by vegetation composed mainly of aguaje palm trees, of great homogeneity and dominant size. The site is also used for important research, conservation and reforestation work. It houses a museum, a zoo and a natural nursery.1 The museum comprises a collection of taxidermy of the Amazonian fauna; The zoo is home to several animals such as mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.Finally, reforestation and botanical gardening are carried out in the viper.
