Luis and his wife Kathe are the founders and artisans an ethical brand of handmade traditional shoes from Spain. They have been many years making shoes in their family-owned factories in Spain. Together, for many years now they have been hosting this very successful workshop in Barcelona, where they teach how to stitch traditional espadrilles. This unique experience has brought them many nominations in 2019 and 2020 as a must-do in Barcelona, highly recommended in Tripadvisor, New York Times, BuzzFeed, among others. Now they are bringing this amazing workshop to Seville, Ibiza and Puerto Rico! Don't miss it, it is very special. These artisans are not only experts when it comes to espadrilles, but also fun and entertaining with their anecdotes and stories.

Stop At: Fortaleza Street
We will first meet at the Entrance Hall where we will have a delicious Cocktail while you learn about the humble origins of this shoe that today is considered a luxury item in the fashion world.

Then we will learn about the different traditional materials and we will choose the different colors, sizes and styles.

Once ready, we are going to sit down on the Workshop tables and we will stitch our own traditional espadrilles, and then learn the different ways to lace them up.

To finish our lovely experience we will open a bottle of champagne, dance, take pictures with our new shoes and have fun! Each guest will leave with its own creation and with a really cool story to tell to friends, something that it is hardly available to the visitors, not even locals. This classic version of the workshop includes the flat traditional base. If you want to make it into a high heel, wedge or platform, ask our artisans, for an upgrade of 39,90Eur you will be able to use a premium wedge base if desired. Remember to mention it because by default we go straight for the flats. For private groups or Team Building: If you feel like you want to take this to the next level, we can upgrade this experience for 20Eur/pax and include free flow of cava and extra food! Because we really know how to spend a great time :)
