Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Hiko-chan House, 622 Nishimura, Maze, Gero 509-2615 Gifu Prefecture

Hiko-chan House
The Nishimura area, where the Maze Satoyama Museum is located, is an aging community with a population of about 150 people. Volunteers of middle-aged and older people who have retired from service use the thinned timber from the forest maintenance to create their own charcoal hut “Hiko-chan House”. It is a place where people can chat while drinking and exchange information on topics such as neighborhoods. Many of the facilities and tools here are handmade by local residents, such as charcoal grilling, as well as vegetables, potatoes, shiitake mushrooms, hearths for grilling delicious potatoes, kilns for cooking rice, mortars and bowls with mochi, and pizza kilns. It is a thing. Would you like to come and talk about it? It feels like a time slip in the Showa...
