A gradual uphill run (we can set the pace determined by who is in the group) passing by Kapiolani Park, residential neighborhoods, a few shops, restaurants, and historical/ former military sites. Once inside the crater, it's a 560 ft. gain on a trail to the bunker at the summit. There are 175 steps on the way. At the top - there is an amazing 360 view of Waikiki and surrounding Honolulu. There are historical and many interesting stories to be told. It's an easy return trip back down to the Zoo. We provide water and snacks.
