From 7:30 in the morning, passengers will be picked up at their respective hotels, pick up time 30 minutes. This tour is in Spanish. To get to the Chiflón waterfalls it takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, upon arrival you travel a distance of 1 km up stairs, until you reach the impressive Velo de Novia waterfall. In this ecotourism center offers the activity of zip line (not included), if you want to do the activity you must pay the cost there. Then we will go to the Montebello Lagoons, there you will have time for lunch (not included), you will visit 3 to 4 lagoons and one of them is called international lagoon because half of the lake is in Mexican territory and the other half is in Guatemalan territory. In the Pojoj lagoon we offer a tour on rustic rafts (not included). At the end of the tour, we return to San Cristobal de las Casas, arriving at approximately 09:00 in the evening.

Stop At: Cascada El Chiflon

After the Pick up, we move to the beautiful waterfalls "El Chiflón" where we will hike to see the different waterfalls until we reach "Velo de Novia" with a fall of more than 120 meters high. In this site you can see a great variety of species of orchids, bromeliads, sabino trees, palomillo trees, sapodilla, cedar and mahogany. Among the existing wildlife that can be found in the area you can find: iguanas, rabbits, armadillos, snakes and various birds.

We continue our way to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park visiting 5 lagoons such as Tziscao, Internacional, Pojoj, 5 Lagos and the main Montebello. Lake Pojoj belongs to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park, a network of bodies of water that are located in the Chiapas municipality of Trinitaria. The lagoons also serve as the border between Mexico and Guatemala. The first thing you should do in Lake Pojoj is take a perfect raft ride, which is made of logs tied with natural fiber ties. The International Lake is located between the limits of Mexico and Guatemala (border). It is located just 2 km away, starting from the main entrance of Ejido Tziscao. Zapaluta, as it was its official name in colonial times, was a town of Coxoh Indians assigned as a dependency of the Santo Domingo de Comitán convent. It was not until the beginning of the twentieth century, when Flavio Guillen decreed the change of name from Zapaluta (way of dwarfs ”in Nahuatl) to La Trinitaria. It is the town where Los Lagos de Montebello is housed.
