Day 1 Tuxtla Gutierrez-San Cristóbal de las Casas International Airport

Stop At:

Transfer from the Airport to the Hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas via the Tuxtla Gutierrez-San Cristóbal highway. Our representatives will greet you at the airport with a paddle with our logo and the name of the lead passenger.

Day 2 San Cristobal de las Casas- Palenque

Stop At: Cascadas de Agua Azul

After the pick up, we will travel to the city of Ocosingo to have our buffet or à la carte breakfast at the restaurant "Mi ranchito" (not included), with an approximate time of 50 minutes. Later our destination will be Agua Azul waterfalls, we will have 2 hours to appreciate the incredible turquoise blue color of its waters. The indigo blue of the water, the green of the vegetation, the constant breeze and the inexhaustible aquatic sound contribute to make this place, located 133 km from San Cristóbal de las Casas, one of the most spectacular and unforgettable in Mexico. The Agua Azul River descends its limestone bed in steps forming a series of impressive waterfalls that create natural pools contained by calcareous dikes, the so-called "gours" in geological terminology.

Day 3 San Cristobal de Las Casas-Chiapa de Corzo

We will move to the Magical town of Chiapa de Corzo, then take a boat to the impressive Sumidero Canyon, the boat tour will last approximately 2 hours. You will be able to observe the great diversity of flora and fauna of the region, great waterfalls, caves and the majestic canyon, then you will return to Chiapa de Corzo where you will have time to see the Mudejar style fountain, the Church of Santo Domingo, and buy crafts made in the region. At the end of the tour they will be given time to eat. 15 million years ago the marine waters withdrew from this region thanks to geological movements that formed the important mountains of Chiapas, including the Sumidero Canyon mountains.

Day 4 San Cristóbal de las Casas-Zinacantan y San Juan Chamula

After the Pick up at the indicated hotel, we will begin our transfer to the native community of San Juan Chamula where we will know the Church and its religious traditions, and we will visit the traditional pantheon. Atrium and Church. In the great town square, the most important events take place, such as the market, elections, political meetings and religious ceremonies. At the end of the square is the temple, preceded by a huge atrium. The church is sober, with a large wooden door that only opens completely on the feast of San Juan. Everything is guarded by the “mayoles” or policemen, who carry a “chuck” - a thick white woolen cotton pad and a hard wood like iron. Visitors are prohibited from taking photographs. We move to Zinacantán to visit its church, and then visit a family from the community to see how they make their typical clothes on a backstrap loom, and savor a bite in their traditional cuisine. Day 5 San Cristobal de las Casas -Chiflón waterfalls y Montebello lagoons

One of the most impressive waterfalls in Chiapas for its height, whose staggered fall reaches around 120 meters. The Rio San Vicente, one of the largest rivers in Chiapas, gives rise to a series of waterfalls that are called: El Suspiro, Ala de Ángel and Velo de Novia, the latter the most impressive due to its fall of 70 meters in height. . They form natural pools of intense turquoise blue waters, framed by vast vegetation that forms a tree curtain and landscapes that stand out for their reed beds and palm groves.

We continue our way to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park visiting 5 lagoons such as; Tziscao, Internacional, Pojoj, 5 Lagos and the main Montebello. Day 6 San Cristobal- Toniná archaeological zone and El Corralito waterfall

We will go to your hotel in San Cristóbal and leave at 7:00 am for Ocosingo where the first stop will be for breakfast (not included).
