Itinerary Details

For this tour lets meet outside the famous eatery called the 'Vidyarthi Bhavan' for some delicious local breakfast and coffee/tea, which locals can swear by! This is a pre-independence local joint where weekends sees people lining up in ques to grab some food!

After loading ourselves with some calories we will walk to a 10th century cave temple, and learn about its mysterious while we get to explore it on the inside and learn a little about Hinduism. A small walk to the local neighborhood will give us a glimpse of people's homes (some which are older than 100 years) where we get to speak to locals and learn about their lives. Get ready to roll up your sleeves next as we visit the Dhobi ghat (washermans village) to see some manual laundry get done, and you can also lend your hand here into the age old washing process!
