Chimborazo is the highest volcano and mountain in Ecuador, and the point furthest from the center of the Earth with an altitude of 6263.47 meters above sea level. Its last known eruption is believed to have occurred around A.D. 550. We will make a panoramic view of the Chimborazo Volcano, the car will arrive at the first refuge the we begin walking to the second refurge of this amazing volcano. After this visit we will be a stop in Balbanera’s Church to admire this incredible church

We travel to Chimborazo Volcano at 04H00 AM this trip take 5 hours approximately. The first stop is in Colta, in the Balbanera Churcha, in this place we will know about the first Catholic church building in Ecuador.

Stop At:

After this place we will visit the Chimborazo Wildlife Production Reserve, where we will hike through the first Hmnos Carrel refuge at 4,800 meters above sea level and from there to the Whymper refuge, 5,000 meters above sea level. At this point we can take a photograph of the place. After our relaxing time we will go to a traditional restaurant to have our lunch. End of the excursion
