Small group tour with 8-10 guest. There’s nothing better than spending a summer's day riding through the the countryside of Holland. A short ferry ride and an easy cycle through 'noord' and we’ll reach the countryside. Soon it’s cows and farmers’ signs offering up freshly made ice-cream and milk. There will be plenty of photo opportunities along the way as we cruise to the Dutch Heritage site of the Zaanse Schans. Once there, you’ll have free time to explore, snap photos, checkout some cheese and clog stalls or simply relax. Our return route will bring us back to town via Zaandam and its famous Intelhotel made from nearly 70 traditional Zaanse-style wooden houses. Spending most of our time outside the city, the stress of biking will be minimized. Please note: The height requirement for the standard bikes is 1,63m (5’3’’). I do have a few bikes that are suitable for shorter individuals, but please message with your height to ensure they are available on a specific day.

Behind the train station we find the free ferry boats which will take us to Noord on our path out of town

Stop At: Krijtmolen d'Admiraal
On a tour full of windmills we'll see our first one before we even leave town.

We'll take the narrow paths through the north and see some surprising monument along the way.

Stop At: Het Twiske
The Recreational area Het Twiske is a great place for locals and tourists alike to enjoy swimming and relaxing.

Stop At: Zaanse Schans
The highlight of the tour will be our extended stop at the Dutch Heritage site the Zaanse Schans. Here you'll have time to explore and perhaps grab a quick bite.

Stop At: Zaandam
Another 'dam town. We'll take a peek at some very unique homes turned hotel in this cute city near Amsterdam
Duration: 5 minutes
Stop At: NDSM Wharf
We'll re-enter the main city via NDSM werf. Depending the ferry there may be time to explore around as we wait for the next departure.

Stop At: Centraal Station
We'll wrap up the tour at the central station before heading back to the shop to say goodbye.
