At the very northern tip of the Ningaloo peninsular, the coastline forms a bay above the lighthouse. This whole area is a sanctuary zone, which means there is no fishing, spear fishing and anchoring to protect the corals, making it one of our favourite places on the Ningaloo Reef to dive. Underwater in the bay are rocky outcrops, coral ledges and deep cracks in the ground forming interesting landscapes. Large schools of fish, sea snakes, crayfish, shrimp and reef sharks are a common sight.

During certain times of year it boasts ‘the big three’, Whale sharks, manta rays and humpback whales. The sound of the humpback whale song during the dives is an incredible and moving experience, not to mention a sighting of any of the big three!

Itinerary

On this tour, we travel to two different dive spots on the Ningaloo Reef for a day of underwater adventure! The Ningaloo Reef is a world heritage listed fringing coral reef and is known for its coral diversity, numerous turtles, schooling fish, giant cods and any sighting of the 'big three'!
The trip takes about 45 minutes by boat from Exmouth. Once there, we do two dives at the best sites of the day, for visibility, and environment.
We conduct these dives from either Lighthouse Bay - a protected, no-take sanctuary zone, teeming with marine life, or the West Side of the peninsular, known for its Whale Shark population and spur and groove coral formations.

Dive Ningaloo likes to visit the less frequented sites and travel further to get to exclusive spots. Between dives we pull into a protected bay for a yummy BBQ lunch.

Pick up from 8am...
