• Dive one swim under Carriacou Sealab and enter moonpool

D2. Review inside habital checklist
• Post-dive procedures

O2 Replenishment Techniques.

-Semi-permeable membranes.
-Biological production of O2 using algae.

 

 

Sensors to maintain proper gas mixes.
-O2  20-22% by volume.
-CO2  .5 % to 1 % maximum (otherwise increased respiratory rate , view ports fogging).

-stored in bottles, storage tanks, flexible bladder (Aquanauts originally slept on water beds which doubled as an emergency water supply) or outside the habitat.
-Distilled at site by reverse osmosis, flash distillation (Multi-stage flash distillation plants produce 85% of all desalinated water in the world) or solar distillation.

 
• D) Food.
-Supplied from shore or surface (cooked meals sent down in transfer pots).
-Stored on board either canned dried or refrigerated.
-Hunted or raised (Mariculture – open ocean fish or shellfish farming).
-Cooking by microwave, hot plate or electric range .

  • Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers
