Manaslu is one of the popular off-the-beaten trails leading you to the land of exotic beauty. Manaslu is a vast and diverse region with the majestic view of Mt. Manaslu (8163m), the 8th tallest mountain, and Mt. Annapurna (8091m), the 10th tallest mountain. Manaslu trek offers a blend of nature, culture, and religion. This region lies in the Gorkha district of Nepal, bordering Tibet to the north, which is a restricted area. Making limited trekkers enter through a special permit. Trekkers need to carry out special provisions to enter the Manaslu area. The trail is less crowded as compared to other trekking routes into the Himalayas of Nepal. Blessed with the varied option, Manaslu is a conservation area en route to Annapurna as well. Trekkers can divert their trail to explore Annapurna and Dhaulagiri region. Manaslu Trek is feasible and offers a majestic view of the wide Himalayan range, valleys, glaciers to reach the highest point at Larkey La Pass (5100m).

Day 1 Kathmandu to Machha Khola
Stop At:
This will be your first day of drive for 7-8 hours in a touristic bus to Machha Kholavia Soti Khola. Driving all the way through the hills into the valley will be mesmerizing experience will take you to Machha Khola. Overnight at Machha Khola
Duration: 5 hour
Day 2 Trek to Jagat
Stop At: Jagat
Today will be easy trail through the tick forest by the Budhi Gandaki River. You will pass by different villages mainly inhabited by Gurung community. This will be through the farmland, river, village etc. climbing higher, the trail will become narrow. You will cross some seasonal stream before hiking through suspension bridge over Budhi Gandaki River to reach Jagat. Overnight at Jagat

Day 3 Trek to Deng
Stop At: Mount Manaslu
Hiking all the way to Deng will be with some uphill climb, as there will be limited numbers of villages and household on the way. The trail will be through forest and farmland with the majestic view of hills, mountain and river. Overnight at Deng
Duration: 5 hour
Day 4 Trek to Namrung
Stop At:
Starting will uphill climb, you will follow Budhi Gandaki rive to the west. This hike will be with the view of Himalayas, villages and river. As you will be hiking uphill at the high altitude. Temperature will be better and enjoyable. This hike will make us visit some Buddhist gumba on the way along with ethnic villages. overnight at Namrung

Day 5 Trek to Sama Gaun
Stop At: Samagaun
As you will be into the Himalayas, this hike will be easy and more relaxing due to its majestic view of the Himalayas. There will be less vegetation throughout the trail, this will make you to explore far area. Passing by some Buddhist village, gumbas, praying flags and mani all the way. The trail will bless you with majestic view of the high Himalayas to reach a popular destination at Sama Gaun.

Day 6 Rest Day hike to Birendra Lake or Manaslu Base Camp
Stop At:
Grabbing our early Breakfast our trek gradually climbs up through a Monastery, Birendra Lake and Manaslu Glacier to reach Manaslu Base Camp. The view is amazing as the surrounding mountains pop up high in the valley, the trek is breath-taking as we pass by the gigantic glacier. After reaching the base camp(4800m) and taking in the view and glacier of the stunning mountains we retrace back the same way on our descent. Overnight at Sama Gaun.

Day 7 Trek to Samdo
Stop At:
Starting your hike with a descend towards Budhi Gandaki River. The trail will get wider due to low vegetation of the Himalayas. Taking a turn towards the Larkya La Pass, you will be in Samdo village Overnight at Samdo

Day 8 Trek to Dharamsala
Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range
Today will be the hardest day for us and also the highest elevation for overnight camp. The trail will lead us through an open area with almost no vegetation, during the winter the route is filled with snow. Entertaining ourselves with the panoramic view of the mighty Himalayas including Annapurna II (7937m), Himlung Himal (7126m), Kang Guru (6981m), Cheo Himal (6820m), and Gyaji Kung (7030m). We will hike further to Dharamsala, a name resemblance to Tibetan Dalai Lama’s abode. Overnight at Dharamsala

Day 9 Trek to Bimthang Via Larkya La Pass 5106m
Stop At: Mount Manaslu
This will be a bit difficult day in terms of altitude. Starting your trail to the Himalayas, you will cross Larkya La Pass, the highest altitude of the entire trek. Larkya La Pass will bless you with the majestic view of Manaslu, Annapurna and numerous other Himalayas. Further you will descend towards Bimthang village. This will be followedby praying flags, maniand gumpas. Overnight at Bimthang

Day 10 Trek to Dharapani
Stop At:
An easy day for you, this will be all the was descending trail. As you descend you will encounter will villages and settlement areas. People here practice Buddhism as their religion. With stupas, gumbas, and bidding farewell to the Himalayas, you will cross a river to reach Dharapani. Overnight at Dharapani

Day 11 Local Jeep drive to Besi Sahar
Stop At: Besisahar
An easy trail for us today, we drive along and above Marshyandi river, passing by hydropower the trail gets broader and finally to Beshisahar. Explore the mountain city and capital of Lamjung district. Overnight at Besisahar

Day 12 Drive to Kathmandu
Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square
From Dharapani you will take a drive all the way to Kathmandu on the same day. This will be around 7-8 hours drive. Passing the river, villages through the drivable road to reach well paved road to reach Kathmandu
