We are going for a walk on the Zaanse Schans. I am a certified guide and will give you a lot of information about the highlights. The walk shows you the Albert Heijn museum shop, the clog factory and the cheese factory and of course the windmills (entrance not included € 5.50 p.p. per adult per windmill, € 2.50 p.p. per child per windmill. You can indicate yourself which windmill (s) you may wish to view.

Pass By: Centraal Station

We meet at the main entrance of Amsterdam Central Station.

Pass By:

From the Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans station we walk to the Zaanse Schans in about 15 minutes.

Stop At: Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm

I will take you to the correct entrance. You will receive an explanation and you can taste and possibly buy cheese.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Molen De Kat

You go with us to the mill if you want and you can climb to the top where you have a spectacular view over the Kalverpolder and Zaanse Schans. An explanation is also given about the operation of the mill.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Zaanse Schans

From Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans station we walk to the Juliana Bridge in about 15 minutes. From the bridge we have a spectacular view of the windmills immediately. I will show you the Albert Heijn museum shop, the clog maker, the cheese maker and the windmills of the Zaanse Schans.

Duration: 2 hour

Stop At:

I will go with you to the clog workshop. We start in the small museum and you will make a demonstration clogs. Then the opportunity to fit and buy clogs.

Duration: 20 minutes

Pass By:

I will take you back to Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans station from where you can take the train back to Amsterdam Central Station.
