This is the meeting point. The Eternal flame (Bosnian, Vjecna Vatra) is a memorial to the military and civilian victims of the Second World War in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The memorial was dedicated on 6 April 1946, the first anniversary of the liberation of Sarajevo from the four-year-long occupation by Nazi Germany and the fascist Independent State of Croatia.

Josip Vancaš, a Hungarian architect, took his inspiration for the design of Sarajevo’s cathedral from the Notre Dame Cathedral in Dijon, France and St. Teyn Cathedral in Prague. Thanks to Vancaš’ great talent, Sarajevo’s cathedral ended up becoming an entirely new and authentic building.

Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque, or Bey’s Mosque, as it is known locally, was built in the center of Baščaršija in 1530. By opserving this mosque and it's unique ornamentations you will have a sensation of traveling through the time. One of the most interesting things you will see in our city is just nearby the Gazi Husrev-bey's Mosque - The Clock Tower.
