Group Tour

LakeSUP is giving you the opportunity to experience the Lake from a totally new perspective. This gentle tour offers time to relax whilst exploring some of Windermere hidden gems. If you're lucky there is the opportunity to spot some local wildlife such as herons, Cormorants and even Otter and Mink. On a hot day a swim spot is on offer to cool down before we venture home.

Itinerary Details

Itinerary

Our Guided Tours are a must do if you want to get out and give the sport a go, without the added pressure of perfecting your technique.
Our tour locations vary depending on weather conditions but we usually paddle on either Windermere or Coniston Water.
We will send specific details closer to the date.
We will aim to paddle on quieter parts of the lake and hopefully spot some wildlife along the way!
We start the trip with an introduction to the equipment before spending some time getting used to how it all works on the water.
Once we are all comfortable we will set off on our journey to explore the Lake District Waterways.
A typical trip would include a journey up the River Brathay (where otters have been spotted!). This is a peaceful and scenic part of the Lake where folks can tune out and relax.

We can only get so far up before we might stop for a break and meander back down.
If we have time we will venture further round the top of the Lake to explore some more.
