Day 1: Girona. Pick up and private transfer to Girona where you will enjoy a touristic tour in Catalonia's cycling capital.

Stop At: Girona Cathedral (Catedral), Placa de la Catedral, s/n, 17004 Girona Spain
The Cathedral is located at the heart of the Força Vella. Built between the 11th and 18th centuries, it includes a series of walls and spaces in different styles, from Romanesque (the cloister and Charlemagne tower) to the baroque façade and steps. Its most singular feature is its large Gothic nave (15th-16th centuries) which, at a width of 23 metres, is the widest of its kind in the world.

This is Girona's most popular square. A porticoed square in neoclassical style, Plaça de la Independència is a busy place due to the large number of restaurants here.

Stop At: Rambla de la Libertad, 17004 Girona Spain
This magnificent long stretch along the River Onyar was developed in the 13th century to hold the market and is characterised by its low-ceilinged arcades and unequal arches. It has long been the main commercial and entertainment centre of Girona and contains many interesting buildings, such as Casa Norat, with its Modernist façade (1912).

The municipality of Santa Pau is the richest and most varied in volcanic features of the whole La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. The village has conserved the very interesting old part, with its distinctive look and medieval characteristics. We will have some time to have lunch and visit the old town.

La Fageda d'en Jordà is a beech forest whose beauty offers constantly changing nuances of light and colour no matter what the time and circumstances.

Olot, "the city of volcanoes", is known especially for its natural attractions and for being part of La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. Within the city boundaries there are four volcanoes: Montsacopa, Montolivet – these two can be visited -, Garrinada and Bisaroques.

The small town of Castellfollit de la Roca rises up on a spectacular basalt crag, 50 metres high and nearly a kilometre long that has been shaped by the river Fluvià.

The Roman Temple remained unknown for centuries since it was surrounded by and formed part of the Castle of Els Montcada, built at the end of the 11th century. The walls of the Roman Temple formed the interior courtyard of the castle and were recovered in 1882 on the demolition of the old building that had served as the residence of the veguer (chief magistrate) of Vic, as the headquarters of the Cúria Reial (judicial headquarters of the city), as the city granary and as a prison.

The cathedral churches and the other buildings that formed part of the bishopric’s allodium were founded in the 11th century in the lower part of the historical centre, close to the river.

The main square in Vic, where most of the town's social and cultural life takes place, is a large square area surrounded on all sides by beautiful noble buildings dating from various periods.They include the city hall, built in the late 14th century, and the Comella palace, a modernist style 19th century building.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays there is a market in the central esplanade, and every year the square is the setting for a medieval market, a gastronomy fair and Vic's Mercat de Música Viva, a live music festival.
