The tour operator surely knew what the weather conditions were like at the Blue Mountains, heavy alternating with lighter rain, visibility at Scenic World no more than 30 feet. The Blue Mountains might be orange for all I know, we saw nothing, but very heavy mist. Our guide Les, was excited by seeing waterfalls (several) where none exist under more usual conditions. Paths and steps were streams, sometimes slippery. We were cold and miserable and disappointed.
In our case Scenic(!) World was a misnomer, we travelled on the railway and a cableway but NO VIEWS/SCENERY, just MIST.
It seems to me that Oz Trails etc. should have described the weather conditions and lack of visibility, and given us a choice as to whether to proceed or not. It was a wasted day, other Sydney attractions might have been a better bet.
My husband enjoyed the river cruise.

Our guide was excellent and took us off the beaten track. Beautiful views over mountains and canyons. Got to go on all three trams and he took the time to walk trails even though it was raining

Tour company was very accommodating of us changing pick up time and place. (We were tendered to Men O’Mar wharf instead of docking at Passenger Overseas Terminal). Tour guide Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful too. We loved all the sightseeing locations (7!) we were able to visit in one day. It was a great day indeed.

It was raining on that day when we went to Blue mountains. But our tour guide Les made our day fun and memorable.
