The Kenai River is a world renown river situated in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge! Utilizing a power drifter boat, we're able to drift down the aqua colored river in silence, which lends itself to unique opportunities to view wildlife. The river is home to millions of pacific salmon, which make their way upriver every year to spawn! As a former employee of the Dept. of Fish and Game, I'm always up-to-date on the current affairs of our fisheries here in the state. Not to mention, knowing where the great or not so great fishing is. I am a registered, Coast Guard approved fishing guide with the State of Alaska, with permits to fish the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, State Parks and the Mat-Su Borough. I have also written articles for the fishing publication (Fish Alaska Magazine).

We will meet at Bing's Landing boat launch at a set time agreed by both parties. Everyone in the party fishing with me will need waders (preferably chest waders). Then we will take a scenic 10 to 15 minutes boat ride upriver, utilizing 18 ft. StealthCraft Power Drifter to access fishing locations, where we will drift fish for Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. If we're fishing for salmon, we will access gravel bars on which to fish off. After fishing, I will clean and package the fish caught for easy transport to a fish processor in town!
The fish processor can then process the fish in the manner to your liking, and make arrangements to have it shipped to your home state if you desire.
