Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most effective forms of martial art for self defense using locks and movements to control and submit an opponent without kicking or striking. We have classes for kids, mixed adults and women's self defense, all will build confidence, improve fitness and meet new people.

Itinerary Details

The class begins with a 10 minute warm up followed by 20 minutes of basic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu movement practice. The following 30 minutes is learning 2 techniques and practicing them. The final 30 minutes is light sparring whereby students get to put together techniques and experience the martial art in action. The sparring can be very gentle movements for beginners or increase the intensity for those who wish to.
